I was inspired to write this story by reoccuring dreams I always have about being a goddess. She got the name Kali because A)It fits perfectly, and B)It's a direct translation of my name. The only problem was that the dreams I have, had reoccuring characters but no real plot. So that's where it took some work to mold Kali's not so happy personality into a storyline that was reasonable. And that's where my friends came in. "If the main character is based on you, then we want to be in it too!" They all donated their ideas to the plot and I ended up with one twisted little story, suitable for an anime plot line.

Good question...Often times you'll find that authors create characters based on people they know or have met in their life time. I guess I'm no execption.Besides being heavily based on myths,most of my characters are inspired by other people.

Kali-chan:That would be me, or most often how I appear in dreams I have. Her character shares the some of same attributes as mine as well.

Medea:The character of Medea is bassed off the character idea that was given to me by my friend Becky. At the time she was just a nameless sorceress but I fixed that(after throwing a couple of names out at Becky). She has undergone a pretty big change in appearance from how Becky pictured her (tall, skinny, long black hair, two differnt color eyes) though. I think she said her sorceress was a character in a story she wrote in grade school...

Karasu:This one was given to me by Melissa. This is her alter ego so to speak. Karasu hasn't gone through much of a change, she's always been that way. Of course when I read the idea right away I pictured this girl in tribal type earth tone clothing with the raven Kanjii on her forehead. To this day Melissa refuses to draw her (she claims everyone will laugh at her drawing).

Tobias:For those of you who knew me online pre-alter ego, you had probably seen my website "Ai No Senshi Magazine" (which got canned by homestead ¬_¬), or if you're on my sailor moon mailing list you're probably thinking to yourself that these names seem familiar. Well here's the story...
      See around the begining of freshmen year I had this dream about a vampire named Tobias. Fare enough, I always have freaky dreams. Anyway so in this dream Tobias was in love with me and made me a vampire (on accident) and then dissapeared. The dream seemed so real that I wrote it down in my wanna be dream journal and later that week found those 10 pages of writing inspiational enough to begin writing a book. So I did.

The story was originally only going to have Tobi in the begining, but he kept appearing in my dreams. I was creeped out, but I wrote him back in anyway. Since then Tobias is a regular in my dreams. He doesn't creep me out anymore I've come to deal with him, but everyone else seems to find him to be creepy whenever I say "Yah this guy named Tobias who I don't know or don't know anyone who looks like him always shows up in my dreams."       Anyway the first story ended out to be 68 pages long, I finished it by christmas that same year. The ending scene was my "christmas gift" to melissa. After that I wrote a sequel sophmor year of about 120 pages, and then yet a third part (which remains unfinished).

     After that (junior year) I got into anime, particularily Sailor Moon. So I decided to take my love of writing stories and write a fan-fic called "BSSM:Legacy of the stars". But I couldn't just throw Tobias away so he became the true love of Sailor Silver Moon (aka Kali-chan) who had died in a terible acident which Silver Moon blamed herself for and thus became a total introvert and refused to make conact with anyone. By the time I had the story completely plotted out and the first two episodes written I had totally sailor mooned myself out (I was obsessed...) and lost intrest in the project.
So around the middle of this year I decided to pick up a different one, writing my own manga, and after a few alterations in appearance (to make him more anime-ish) Tobias once again assumes the role of Kali's lover in this story. Of course now Kali isn't a vampire, or running around in a fuku destroying evil in the name of a new moon...

Eric:Eric was inspired by someone I met last year who I really liked *alot*, but things didn't work out cause I was too afraid of his friend to let him know how I felt (and by the time she was out of the picture we were so distant that I didn't even know what to say to him, not to mention I couldn't even look at him without turning bright red...). *Sob T_T I miss him...

Satashi:I had created satashi, and then later she was sort of assigned to the character of my friend Stacy.
